Warranty Conditions

CARROCERÍAS FERQUI, S.L. (FERQUI) communicates these Warranty Conditions for the bodywork and systems installed by the bodywork manufacturer for the attached frame, under the terms and conditions indicated.

The warranty issued by CARROCERÍAS FERQUI, S.L., in its capacity as manufacturer of the bodywork, covers the areas and systems listed in this document.

The issuance of these Warranty Conditions by the legal representative of the company indicated in the “Customer Data” box implies:

  1. Acceptance of the warranty under the terms of this document, expressly accepting the exclusions contained therein.
  2. Receipt of the vehicle’s user and maintenance manuals and the equipment installed in it.
  3. Knowledge of the network of workshops authorised by FERQUI where you should contact in case of requiring warranty intervention.
  4. The commitment of the customer or workshop to inform FERQUI by e-mail at the address: postventa@ferqui.com, the incident in the product within a period of less than fifteen (15) calendar days from the appearance of the incident. Otherwise, the customer will be liable for any damages caused by the delay in communication.
  5. The customer will reliably communicate to FERQUI the identity of the successive purchasers of the vehicle described above, for the purposes of maintaining the validity of this warranty for the remaining period at that time.
  6. The warranty period will end within the terms and conditions indicated throughout this document. These deadlines will be calculated from the date of issue of this document, which must be signed by the customer and stamped by FERQUI, at the time of delivery of the vehicle bodied. The sending of the document to the client’s e-mail address or its physical delivery, in the event that there is no express response within a maximum period of seven (7) days, will give rise to tacit acceptance of these Conditions.
  7. The warranty periods indicated in this document will not be suspended for any reason, being counted in any case from date to date.
  8. The customer authorises the workshops of the official FERQUI network to send the parts replaced in the warranty interventions to this company, for the purposes of their subsequent study and analysis.
  9. Any repair that wants to be carried out in workshops outside the official network must be notified in advance and receive express approval.
  10. In any case, the following items will be excluded from the guarantee:
    • Travel, travel, accommodation, subsistence allowances, fixed/variable costs of the processing of guarantees and/or claims, costs of detecting faults and/or inspection in the event that the claim is not applicable, replacement vehicles, auxiliary vehicles, other expenses derived from the immobilization of the vehicle, transfers of vehicles or towing costs as a result of vehicle breakdown, repair materials not provided by FERQUI, expenses related to maintenance operations determined in each case in the manuals referred to in the points on the back, parts and assemblies subject to normal wear and tear, no maintenance operations or materials.
  11. The warranty will be forfeited when damage has occurred due to shocks, accidents, improper use and/or interventions of any kind carried out by third parties not authorised in writing by FERQUI or non-original FERQUI components have been modified and/or replaced. Likewise, the validity of the warranty will also be lost, when the bodywork is handled and/or stored in conditions that are not optimal for its conservation.
  12. Changes or repairs to elements, installations (totally or partially) and/or systems of the vehicle other than those requested in the bodywork purchase order will not be accepted under warranty.
  13. FERQUI is exempt from all responsibility and obligation for any damage to people or property, which may occur during the use of the products supplied and due to or dependence on them, provided that it is proven that the established regulatory requirements have been complied with, having used due diligence. FERQUI is exempt from all liability in the event that damages arise from fraudulent or negligent actions of the users.

Warranty Term

A two (2) year warranty is offered that will cover the following elements, systems and components, without including the exclusions and reductions that appear in this document and also in the instructions, use and maintenance manuals of those mentioned below: Air conditioning or air conditioning, Heating, Lifting platform for PRM (People with Reduced Mobility), PRM ramp (People with Reduced Mobility), servo-assisted service door, audio and video system.

Strength of the structure.
The maintenance of the resistance conditions of the structure is guaranteed in accordance with the legislation in force at the time of its first registration.

Exclusions

  • The continuous or punctual operation of the vehicle in loading conditions other than those determined in the technical data sheet or its destination for a use other than the conventional one: passenger transport on motorways, roads and roads suitable for the circulation of heavy vehicles.
  • Damage to the structure caused by the lack of maintenance or lack of good conservation of elements and/or systems that attenuate or isolate vibrations.
  • The consequences derived from the lack of maintenance or condition in order that may directly or indirectly affect the structure or non-compliance with the conditions defined above.

Structure corrosion protection

The anti-corrosion protection of the structure is guaranteed in order to maintain its resistance parameters in climatic conditions and common use in Europe.

Exclusions

  • Damage caused by the lack of maintenance of the ground floor or the lack of diligence in repairing damage to it.
  • Damage caused by chemical or physical attack resulting in damage to corrosion protection.

Painting

The good condition of the bodywork paint is guaranteed within normal parameters whenever incidents are reported to the FERQUI after-sales manager, as soon as they are detected. The specified warranty period shall not be interrupted due to notification of deficiencies, compensation for expenses arising from a repair or repair work performed on the delivery of coating materials for repair purposes.

Exclusions

  • Indirect damages and/or loss of profit caused by incidents with the paint of the bodywork.
  • Mechanical damage (scratches, abrasions, chipping, dents, impacts from stones or animals) and/or damage caused by accidents.
  • Discoloration (loss of hue) caused by bird droppings and/or immobilization with UV exposure for a period of more than 6 months.
  • Paint damage due to the use of chemical or abrasive cleaning products or the application of waxes not suitable for use on car bodies, as well as damage caused by weather factors (rain, acid rain, hail, etc.).

Audio and video equipment

Audio and video equipment is guaranteed provided that the following conditions are met: The conditions of use and safety for which the device was designed and installed must be maintained (see manufacturer’s user manual).

Exclusions

  • Damage to elements or components of the equipment produced directly or indirectly by external causes and/or lack of maintenance (established in the manual).
  • The replacement of parts with others that are not original to the bodywork manufacturer and/or replaced or repaired by personnel from authorized FERQUI workshops.
  • Damage caused by improper use of equipment.
  • Damage caused by the handling of the equipment by personnel who are not from the network of authorised FERQUI workshops.

Watertightness

Ensure that water does not enter the passenger compartment, battery drawer, or in the holds in normal conditions of rain and gentle washing.

Exclusions

  • The coverage of the above concepts is excluded if the windows or windshield have been changed in workshops not authorised by FERQUI, as this may lead to leakage losses.
  • The improper use of detergents or cleaning agents that attack the sealed joints and sealing rubbers means the loss of the guarantee of tightness.
  • Water ingress due to a poor closing of the doors or gates.

Electrical installations

The maintenance of the service and safety conditions that allow the operation of the different organs, systems and electrical power devices, under a normal use of the bodywork, is guaranteed.

Exclusions

  • Lack of attention or care in elements that may directly or indirectly affect the electricity system will result in the loss of the guarantee on it.
  • The improper handling or replacement of electrical or other elements that may directly or indirectly affect the safety of the vehicle and the correct functioning of the elements, as well as affect their state of conservation, will result in the loss of the warranty on them.
  • The installation of elements external to FERQUI, of which no pre-installation has been left, without the express consent of the bodybuilder.

Windshield and windows

The windscreens are guaranteed to maintain visibility and protect from rain and apparent wind created when driving.

Exclusions

  • Damage caused by: the use of abrasive products, sudden changes in temperature that affect the vehicle’s windows and/or damage caused by external or internal impacts.
  • Loss of visibility or visual appearance due to causes derived from a physical or chemical attack.

Seats

The maintenance of the conditions of use and aesthetics for which the seats were designed is guaranteed.

Exclusions

  • Damage caused by abrasion of fabrics under normal conditions of use.
  • Physical or chemical attack from improper maintenance and/or cleaning.
  • Acts of vandalism or unusual conditions of use.
