Start of production of the Soroco model, on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter mechanics, with 19 seats plus driver, for the United Kingdom. Its left-hand drive equivalent would be called Sunset, which would also be applied to Iveco chassis.

Based on the Mercedes-Benz O818 chassis, the right-hand-drive Toro and left-hand-drive Salero bodies were introduced, which would eventually serve as the inspiration for the Sunrise model.
